If you are looking for substantial work experience in business development, public policy advocacy, non-profits, foreign affairs, event-planning, research, politics and much more, Dick Batchelor Management Group is offering several part-time intern positions for academic credit for the fall, summer, and spring semesters.
Dick Batchelor is a well-known and respected former state legislator who has built his business through his wide networks – an aspect which will present interns with countless networking opportunities with policy-makers, business leaders and opinionators in Orlando and across the country. DBMG offers interns an experience in a fast-paced work environment, with ever-changing priorities and opportunities for personal advancement.
Intern responsibilities may range from preparing research materials for potential and existing clients, setting up fundraisers for various non-profits, managing daily calendars and phone messages, monitoring media sources and social media outlets, to accompanying Mr. Batchelor on meetings with legislators, CEOs, or other individuals. Unlike in other work environments, interns at DBMG are vital to the operation of the business and are expected to contribute their talents to the company.
Generally speaking interns work 12-15 hours a week, though various time schedules can be approved. If you are interested please email a resume along with a cover letter and any pertinent contact information to Mara Lugo at firstname.lastname@example.org.
